Por, para y porque

For / In order to. 
Used to express a purpose or objective. It is usually followed by an infinitive verb. 
(e.g., Estudio español para viajar)

For / Because of. 
Used to express a cause, reason, or motive. It is usually followed by a noun
(e.g., Estudio por mi trabajo).

Because. Used to give an explanation or answer the question "¿Por qué?". It is always followed by a conjugated verb 
(e.g., Estudio español porque me gusta).

The infinitive. The original form of a verb before it is conjugated, ending in -ar, -er, or -ir 
(e.g., trabajar, aprender, vivir).

The noun. A word used to name things, people, places, or ideas (e.g., trabajo, familia, salud, placer).

I study Spanish in order to travel. (Expresses purpose + infinitive)

I learn Spanish because of my family. (Expresses reason/motive + noun)

I exercise for my health. (Expresses reason/motive + noun)

I learn Spanish because I like it. (Expresses an explanation + conjugated verb).

I read books because I want to learn more vocabulary. (Expresses an explanation + conjugated verb).
