Phrasal Verbs: Time Spending (At Work)

to say when you have to start work.
to record the time you begin working.

clock on/clock in

When I start work I have to clock in by 8 o'clock.

to say when you are finished work.
to record the time you have ended your shift.

clock off/clock out 

I usually clock out by 5pm.

take off/book off

I was about to take 4 weeks off this year for vacation.

To have a small or limited amount  of time available

to be pushed/pressed for time
