'Fame'

"She's always posting photos on Instagram." 
"She's doing it for the clout"

Someone who can't touch something without breaking it, applies to dangerous people as well. 

"Look Edward Scissorhands has just walked in, best steer clear"

Someone who pretends to be somebody else, with the purpose of starting a deceptive relationship. 

'Turns out that girl I met on the internet was a 40 year old man.'

An endearing way to call somebody, doesn't necessarily have romantic connotations attached to it. Used when speaking to someone of the opposite sex. 

"Don't worry love, you'll get through it."

Short for brilliant.

"I've booked a holiday to the Maldives"

"Brill, can't wait"

A term that describes something that makes you feel ashamed or embarrassed. 

"Did you see what Sam did last night?"
"Yeah I know, I couldn't stop cringing" 

"I can't go out with my Dad, he makes me cringe."

Someone who's made a mistake or messed up. 

Kate's a dummy I wouldn't trust her.

Loads or lots. 

There's bare food in the canteen.

British people love fish and chips. A short name for a fish and chip shop. 

Let's get something from the chippy tonight.

Boring - "Did you go to Lab 11 last night" "Yeah it was completely dead, what a waste"

Toilet - "Just popping to the loo, won't be 2 secs"

Crazy - "Last night was absolutely mental!"

Ten Pounds - "Have you got a tenner I can borrow?"
