Here are some good games we all used to play when we were little.

Childhood games

a children's game played on a board that has pictures of snakes and ladders

a children's game in which a group of children hide in secret places and then one child has to go to look for them

a game played by two people who place the elbows (= the middle part of the arm where it bends) of one of their arms on a table, hold hands, and then try to push the other person's hand down onto the table

a game played by two or more children in which one child chases the others and tries to touch one of them. This child then becomes the one who does the chasing.

a children's game in which one person has a cloth tied over their eyes and tries to catch the others

a game where 2 teams have to catch a flag before one another

a game where children in a line pass a secret word to each other by whispering it in the ear

a game in which one team plays as cops and one as robbers; the cops have to catch alla the robbers to win the game

a game played by children, who throw a stone onto a set of joined squares drawn on the ground and jump on one leg and then on two legs into each square to get the stone

it's a pretend game in which you have to escape the floor because hot as lava; you have to find an elevated spot to escape

children in circle pass an object (the hot potato) really quickly  while some music is on. When the music stops who's holding the 'object' is out of the game.

children walk around a group of chairs while music plays. When the music stops they have to sit quickly on a chair, but because there is always one less chair than the number of children, who is left standing must leave.
