To be in agreement about something. 

Ex. "Let's go over the plan for the meeting tomorrow to make sure we're on the same page."

To make contact or reconnect with someone briefly.*

Ex. "I will touch base with you later today after my meetings."

*briefly = for a short time

To do more than people expect. 

Ex. "She really went the extra mile by spending extra time with that customer to help them find exactly what they needed."

To start again because a previous attempt failed. 

Ex. "I don't think we need to go back to square one, a few small changes should fix the problem with this design."

To summarise something using as few words as possible. 

Ex. "In a nutshell, we will run out of cash in three months if we don't make some immediate changes."

To think of creative, unconventional solutions. 

Ex. "The approach we are taking is not working, we are not market leaders. We need to start thinking outside of the box to get ahead of our competitors."
