Travel Memories

People-watching (noun)
Passing time in a public place observing people and their interactions.

E.g. "I stood outside the cafe and did some people-watching".

Note: You can also call this 'watching the world go by'.

stroll (verb):
If you stroll somewhere, you walk there in a slow, relaxed way. 

E.g. "We strolled along the waterfront". (verb)
E.g. "We went for a stroll to explore the city". (noun)

Vibrant (adjective)
'Vibrant' describes something that is full of life, energy or colour. You can describe colours, parks, art, flavours and many other things this way.

"The city's nightlife was so vibrant".

chaotic (adjective)
Completely confusing, unpredictable and not in order.

E.g. "The traffic there was so chaotic!".

Vivid (adjective)
When describing memories, dreams and descriptions, 'vivid' means 'very clear, detailed and powerful'.

E.g. "This song brings back vivid memories of my summer in Rome".

Vividly (adverb)
When describing memories, dreams and descriptions, 'vividly' means 'in a very clear, detailed and powerful way'.

E.g. "I vividly remember how crystal clear the water was".

Unparalleled (adjective)
Having no equal; better or greater than any other.

E.g. "The sunset over the ocean from our beachfront villa was unparalleled".

It “left a lasting impression on me” (phrase)
This phrase is used when something left an impact on you that lasts a long time.

E.g. "The streets of Tokyo left a lasting impression on me".

Multi-sensory (adjective)
Involving more than one sense, such as smell, taste, and sight, all at the same time.

E.g. "It was a multi-sensory experience: colourful food stalls, delicious smells and busy traffic sounds".

"To this day" (phrase)
"To this day" is used to emphasise that something continues until this day; up to and including the present moment. 

E.g. "To this day, I still remember that picnic at the beach".

Bustling (adjective)
'Bustling' describes a place or situation that is full of energy, activity and people.

E.g. "One of my favourite parts of the trip was visiting the bustling markets".

rich (adjective) 
A rich colour, smell, or taste is strong in a pleasing or attractive way.

E.g. "I can still remember the smell of the rich scent of herbs from the spice markets in Morocco".
