What does this sentence mean? "He swam ten length of the pool." Does it mean like "He swam in the pool. The length that he swam was ten times longer than that of the pool he swam"?

A length of a pool is actually the length from one end to another. So, ten lengths is ten times the length of the pool or ten laps.

It means he swam from one end of the pool to the other ten times. We would also refer to this as a "lap". So we can also say "He swam ten laps".
