What does "summit push" mean?
This is about climbing high mountains.
"The summit push is about one week and then another 4 days to get home."

It is the last leg of a climb when the climbers make the attempt to ascend to the summit, or the peak of the mountain.
Sometimes they must wait for days at their camp for conditions like visibility, cold or wind to change in order to do their “push to the summit.”
