what is the best time to use in sentences:
1. (you/ finish)…. your homework yet?
2. how long (she/have)…..that car?
3. i (never/be)…sailing, what’s it like?
4.it was late. most of the shops(close)…..
p.s. please, explain why you used this or that time

3. I've never been sailing, what’s it like? -- потому что never
4. It was late. Most of the shops had closed. -- потому что действие перед моментом в прошлом
