Countries are becoming more and more similar because people are able to buy the same products anywhere in the world.
Do you think this is a positive or negative development?
These days countries share more similarities due to the fact that people can purchase the same items all over the world. I strongly believe this is a positive phenomenon in the long run, because it makes the lives of citizens more convenient, and it also saves more cost in the production line.
To begin with, a number of people have no trouble in searching for products that used to only exist in their hometown because of this development. As a matter of fact, they no longer find it difficult to get access to essentials which they are accustomed to back in their own cities after they stay abroad. For instance, many Chinese who live in Melbourne are able to find the exact same Chinese ingredients for hotpot.
Additionally, it saves a huge amount of innovation cost in production line for some companies with the advent of globalization. This is because there is no need for staffs to come up with new recipes or ways to meet people’s needs. Therefore, they can directly receive the exact recipes from those who have already achieved success in the market. For example, KFC has gained popularity in the public for decades, entrepreneurs can just copy paste the same cooking styles from the parent company and make mass production without give extra budget to innovation fees.
In conclusion, I consider this is a positive development for two reasons. Not only people can reach to the same products that they are familiar with, but also no extra fees are spent in figuring out new ways in producing items for companies.

Countries are becoming more and more similar because people are able to buy the
same products anywhere in the world. Do you think this is a positive or negative
development? Today, countries have more in common due to the fact that
people can purchase the same items all over the world. I strongly believe this
is a positive phenomenon in the long run, because it makes the lives of citizens
more convenient, and it also saves more cost in the production chain. First, a number of people can now search for products that used to
only exist in their hometowns because of this new access. In fact,
they no longer find it difficult to obtain the essentials, which they were
accustomed to in their own cities, while living abroad. For instance,
many Chinese people who live in Melbourne are able to find the exact same Chinese
ingredients for hotpot. Additionally, the advent of globalization saves a huge amount of innovation costs
in the production line for some companies. This is
because there is no need for staff to come up with new recipes or ways to meet
people’s needs. Therefore, they can directly receive the exact same recipes from
those who have already achieved success in the market. For example, KFC has
gained popularity in the public for decades, so entrepreneurs can just copy and paste
the same cooking styles from the parent company and make mass production without
giving an extra budget to innovation fees. In conclusion, I consider this is a
positive development for two reasons. Not only can people access the
products that they are familiar with, but also no extra fees are spent in
figuring out new ways to produce those items for companies.
Very well done! Try to mix in more direct sentences, instead of using negation. For example, “Now, they can easily access ingredients from their native countries”, instead of “not only do they no longer have to struggle to access ingredients, they can get exactly what they had back home” etc.

Good explanations. It is easy to understand.
