I want to say I enjoy the process of making those kinds of cakes you usually have a piece of them🍰 in general. Can I also say I love baking / making A cake? 🎂 And when it comes to food preferences, I have to say ,I like cake, right? I'd appreciate your help!

Hi Fatima! You can "count" on me when it comes to nouns. It seems that you have received advice about the many ways to say that you are baking a cake. Love baking cakes. Will bake a cake. Who baked the cake? I baked the cake. Who made the cake? They made the cake. Well . . . there are so many examples. But, if a few of you bake several delicious cakes, independently, it may be difficult to decide who made the most delicious cake. In that case, a "bake-off" could be arranged. A "bake-off" is a contest wherein several baked goods are judged by a group of individuals in order to choose a winner. Just to add, you can say: I like eating cakes. I prefer saying that I love eating cakes. I eat cake slowly and I relish every bite.

I like to bake cakes too! And especially eat them. Make and Bake are both fine. Bake is more descriptive I suppose. For describing general preference, no article is needed. So, 'baking/making cakes' is generally better than 'baking/making A cake."
