Hello everyone, Yesterday I was going to post about today, but fell asleep after I got home and took a bath. I've been slacking off on my English studies recently. I’ll do my best to continue to study English a little each day🙂 By the way, today's weather is bad because a typhoon is hitting Japan. Normally I wouldn’t go out, but today I have to go to a hair salon. I have soft hair that tend to get shaggy in humidity, so I need to go there to improve my hair quality during the humid summer. It’s hard to go there in the typhoon, but I’ll go there to get beautiful hair💇🏻‍♀️✨

I have soft hair that tend to get shaggy / disheveled in humidity / when they get wet, so I need to go there to improve my hair during the humid summer. It’s going to be hard to go there, especially because of this typhoon, but I’ll go anyway to get beautiful hair💇🏻‍♀️✨.

Assuming that this story is happening today (not yesterday) it's almost perfect! Today > "my day" because the day is no longer today. I don't think I've ever used "hair quality" so would probably just say "for maintaining my hairdo", "to keep my hair neat", "to avoid frizzy hair", or something along those lines. Shaggy might be correct. Poofy or frizzy might also be what you mean. "Unkempt" is a formal word for messy, but only for hair (note that kempt is not a word). Good luck getting your hair done!
