I've noticed there are some language tests here. Is it worth taking a language test to know your level in a language? If you prove via such a test that your level is high, can that fact be helpful on a resume?

The language tests here are informal. Their main purpose is to assess your level to give you a picture of how much progress you've made in your target language. If you want to boost your resumé, you should take a more formal and widely recognized test like IELTS or TOEFL.

To be honest, unless you're applying for a teaching or translation job, I don't think so. In fact, I've been teaching, translating and editing in English for 15 years and, despite me being from a country that is generally not considered an English-speaking one, no one's ever asked for it.
