On the fifth day, my husband and I went to National Ainu Museum and Park to learn about the Ainu tribe that disappeared a long time ago. I imagined (it would be) a kind of amusement park to play games. However, it was not. It displayed Ainu houses, food, and their way of living. Unfortunately many performance programs in the theater and experimental (is this the right word? experience?) tour were canceled. So it wasn’t much fun. Next we went to Shikotsu icefall festival where many different types of icefall were displayed. They were very dynamic and beautiful. I took many pictures of them. I arrived at home at 22:00. I enjoyed my 5 day Hokkaido trip.
