Damp. Something is damp when it has some liquid water in it or on it but it is not really wet. "He used the towel once and now it is damp." He started to wash the towel in the sink. Now it is totally wet and I cannot use it."
Humid. There is water vapour in the air. "In the tropics, it is hot and humid. You feel it when you walk around."

Humid means that it is dry and has hot air but damp means that it is wet. For example you would say that the wind is humid today and I will put my face in a damp towel.

Hi Valeria.
When it comes to the weather “damp” means wet - сырая, and “humid” means hot and damp, makes you sweat a lot - когда высокая влажность.
Autumn in Moscow is usually chilly and damp with rain and drizzle, but the summer is hot and humid.

I think that damp means slightly humid in an unpleasant way, gives the feeling of displeasure
Humid is objective: "contains a certain degree of humidity"
I wish you a good day
