Weather is for day to day discussion. Climate is a discussion of weather over a period of time or in general. For example: California has a very nice climate. What is the climate like in southern Spain in the winter? The weather has been great this week. What’s the weather going to be like on the weekend? Can you believe this weather? It’s hotter than hell!
