I firmly believe that emotion regulation should be taught in school. Emotional health should be considered as the same important as physical health in the modern society, especially when social media are thriving all over the world. Undoubtedly, social media have become one of the vital sources of stress due to its convenience. We are being able to have a glimpse of other's life just by clicking in their Instagram account, which easily triggers comparison between each other. Human is never enough with comparison. In 21st century, as more mental illness have been discovered, the increasing number of patients suffering from mental illness necessitates the education of emotion control. If mental health was taught when all of us were young, the risk of having mood disorder or illness would be apparently reduced.
