The number of new COVID-19 cases in Japan still remains high. However, the government announced yesterday that people don't have to wear a mask in some cases. We don't have to wear a mask when we exercise, such as when we go walking and jogging in the park. Also, we can go mask free when people hardly have a chat outside, or when people talk to others while keeping a distance of more than two meters. I started jogging again in the park nearby last week because I was out of shape due to covid-19. I went there without a mask and saw some people walking their dogs there today. Most of them did that with masks on, but a few people were jogging without masks. Actually, I had difficulty breathing when I jogged with a mask on, but I thought I had no choice but to wear a mask because I was scared to be infected with covid-19. So, it was reassuring that the government approved of not wearing masks depending on situation. I enjoyed jogging without a mask today, but my nose started to feel itchy on my way home. Come to think of it, I'm allergic to several kind of trees in the park. Because of it, I can't stop sneezing right now. Unfortunately, when I want to jog in the park, I have to keep wearing a mask nonetheless.
