Nothing good happened to me today. It was just a normal day. Even if today is Friday, I just want to sleep right now or read a book. Oh I just remembered that I ate a good meal made by my mom, this was the highlight of my day. 😁

Your English is perfect! Just changed "nothing good" to "nothing special" because I think it sounds more natural in this case
