On the fourth day. We left hotel at 7:00 am. At first we drove around 300km to go to Cape Soya. Cape Soya is the northernmost point of Hokkaido , and therefore of Japan. About 30 kilometers from the Wakkanai area, the cape is a popular stopping point for bikers and tourists and has quite a few monuments, gift shops, a windmill, and a lighthouse. If the weather is good you can see Sakhalin, a Russian island once part of Japan, from the lookout point. We arrived at there at 1:00 pm. It was windy and hailing. I couldn’t see Sakhalin at all. I was very disappointed. My lunch was Seafood rice bowl , crab and scallop were inside. They were fresh and delicious. I was happy to eat it. After that we drove about 300 km to check in the hotel in Asahikawa city . We arrived there at 8:00 pm. It was a busy day. iPhoneから送信
