In the coming next month, we will spend our Mid-Autumn Day, which is one of four Chinese traditional festivals. Perhaps all Chinese people
have the most beautiful imagination about this festival. That is about
the moon.
This day is always in the middle of August(aka. 8/15) according to the
Chinese lunar calendar, which is widely used in ancient times even
nowdays. On that night, the moon becomes fullest and brightest. A circle often means perfectness, harmony and something in their best state. Likewise, a family get reunion even far apart, lovers try to be
reconciled with each other even in troubles, etc. Um, Chinese ancients
liked being in accordence with Nature. Perhaps it's a common perspective among most Chinese traditional philosophies, e.g. Taoism, Confucianism, Chinese buddhism.
