How tall a man must be, in order to be considered tall in your countries? These days i was researching about the height of men in diferent countries, but i couldn't find a answer to, how tall a man must be in order to be considered tall in countries all over the world. Here in Brazil, men are quite tall.  I'm 5'11 (181) But i'm considered an average guy, in Brazil to be considered tall you must be at least 6'1 (185). But im curious about other countries such as, USA, Japan, Canadá, Russia... And all the other countries. What you guys can tell me about height in your coutries?

In the United States, I would say 6' is the magic number (because of being an exact number of feet). That would be 182.9 cm. I'm sensitive on this point because I used to be 5' 11-3/4" (five feet, eleven and three-quarters inches = 71.75 inches = 182.2 cm. Nowadays I only measure 5' 11" and any day now I will probably fall below, which will be tough after so many years of being able to say, honestly, "five foot eleven."

Wikipedia says the average height in the U.S., all men of all ages, is 175.7 cm (5 ft 9 in).

Once I hear a doctor on TV talking about the ideal height for men, it was between 1,73 cm until 1,77cm. He was talking about impotency and also about the lack of inadequate blood pressure. Between that height mentioned before there is most chance to be the golden number (beauty's number).

I do not want to scare you, but you better take precautions.

In my country, Iran, a man is accepted as a tall man when he is 180 and more. Those who are under 180 are almost short.
