How motivated are you to learn FRENCH ?

Learning a new language is a personal challenge.

You may NEED to learn it (professional requirement, moving to a French speaking country, living with a french speaking person etc...) or you just want to learn it for your own PLEASURE/EDUCATION/CURIOSITY/INTEREST..without any particular pressure.

In any case it is fine and hopefully FUN :-)

But how motivated are you to proceed...to improve, to make real efforts, work on your own, get involved in a conversation ?

Il suffit de regarder le nombre de leçons qu'on a pris pour mesurer le degré de motivation, moi j'ai laissé tomber les activités genre: discussion avec un autre apprenant car rare pour ne pas dire personne n'est sérieuse pour apprendre.

The purpose of my learning the language gives me strength each day and more than that I believe that all things are possible with the right mindset. Sometimes I may have no one to talk to, but still I keep going. I'm learning French more as a duty, not for pleasure. So it's more of a deal for me.

I have been wanting to learn a 2nd language for some time. I am going France in April, 2017 so now I HAVE to learn enough to be conversational. I listen to French language podcasts while I'm at work and I study for a minimum of 1 hour a night but really try to make it for 2 hours. I am in desperate need of a language partner for vocal practice.

I´m not really working on improving, but desperately trying to hold on to whatever I know. :) Spanish is messing up my French!

Yes learning a language is a personal challenge.

Each language I chose to learn has a meaning to me and also shape my personality and French couldn't be forgotten on my list.

French was supposed to be the second language I wanted to learn, but now is my 5th. It's ok =P

I love the French style, the way you guys pronounce the words which is not easy, I studied a little about it and that made me clap my hands for seeing how powerful our brain is for being able to handle a language like french.

I will start learning French next year and I can't wait to be able to understand it immediately.

French is classic!!!!
