This topic seems a little abstract and vapid, but do you often spend your spare time to think about how to face it especially while falling into panic, anxiety or trouble by crisis happening on unemployment, family issue, career design or friendship?
I know many friends who always would like eating more food or drinking alcohol instead active communication. Sometimes before it was a passive to express in singing or drinking with friends, but we always try find out one way to calm down.
We have a proverb, “When you laugh, the world laughs with you, you cry, you cry alone ”
Talking. I find talking is the most effective way to release myself. I have been through arguments with friends, homesick feeling and failing in the exam. Generally I don't share these with them because I don't want them to worry about me. Sitting there and wondering what I should do to face the difficulties are meaningless because our brains have already full of troubles so I give my brain a break and allows it to stop fidgeting.
Friends are the most powerful backing for me. For one thing, they always offer me some solutions and share some similar experiences. For another, they distract my attention by saying something irrelevant or telling interesting stories. Perhaps I just need a listener and let my emotions go. I think taking a walk outside can also make me calm down.
