Pop filters rock! If you ever record your voice, I would strongly recommend that you research what a "pop filter" (or "shield" or "guard") is, and use one. I just listened to the first couple of seconds of a recording of someone's voice and I had to stop listening because the plosives were uncomfortable to listen to. Perhaps my ears are particularly sensitive, but pop filters exist for a good reason. They can make all the difference between a noisy, popping, banging, thumping, unpleasant recording and a recording that's comfortable to listen to. :D
