The definition of "crisis-prone"

Hi guys, i'm currently studying International relations and i have a problem understanding the term "crisis-prone". Do you guys have any ideas about the meaing of this term?

"Crisis-prone" means more likely to fall into crisis. If a country or region is crisis prone that means it is more likely to experience war, economic depression, famine, disease, etc.

At least that's my understanding of this phrase. Hope this helps.

being "prone to A"  means that A is likely to happen. "crisis-prone" is the same as "prone to crisis". So this phrase basically means whatever it is describing is very likely to have crisis
