Division of the languages sort of happened on its own as I'm focusing on vocabulary right now. I would have to say German ends up receiving a lot of my attention cause I started it first, but I do try to give Italian just as much time.

I can learn 10+ German words in a day and remember most all of them the next day. I usually end up going over them anymore from 4 to more times in a day though.

With Italian, it is so much more difficult. I have to spend double the time to learn half the number of words.

If you're fluent in Spanish, Portuguese will be very easy. You'll be able to advance very quickly. Maybe you don't even need to put a lot of work into it, since you live in community where you can practice Portuguese a lot. Arabic will be more challenging, but if you're more interested in Arabic than in Portuguese than go for it.

Do you have the same motivation for both languages? Do you divide your time for language learning evenly between the two languages?

I am only learning two languages right now. They are German and Italian.

My goals for the two languages are actually the same. I want to be able to carry on a conversation and be understood in both languages. Yes, eventually I would like to reach fluency or have a huge reservoir of countless words so I can talk about anything, but for now basic conversation is my goal.
