Whether you had been in a kindergarden when you were a kid?
I had attended at kindergarden from 1985 to 1990. As kindergarden I imply a preschool day place for children, where they spent their time while the parents are at work. I remember the time as the happiest in my life.
Once on a day before a New Year all the children got their new year presents -- big packages with sweets. And there was a newbie young nurse. She allowed us to open the packages. At the moment when my parents came to take me home, in my package only an orange, a couple of wallnuts, and a little waffle were left. All chocolate candies (about a kilogramm) were eatten off. On that night I could not fall asleep up to late. At the midnight I still played and yelled: "The little car is going, going, going..."

Of course the nurse was fired after parents' complaints.

Sweet memories you have AHTON. Any mother who feels guilty leaving her kids in daycare should read this.

I just was in pre-school from 9 to 3 o’clock but also loved it a lot since everything was adapted for children, the furniture, the toilets, the place where we hung up our coats.

The lunch wasn’t good and we had to take a nap on some mattress on the floor. Didn’t like that. I wanted to play.

Aliph,
It seems there always was a company, who didn't sleep at obligated "quiet hour". But why did you have to lay on the floor on some mattress?
