How do you practice writing?
I think Victor means he uses writing to improve his English.
"I use writing to improve."
"I use writing too (as well) to improve."
Write something every day here on Italki in the Notebook, and someone will always correct it and help you.
Start with writing something simple and short.
Never be embarrassed. Starting a new language is hard for everyone!! :-)
Your writing errors can be corrected if you use a free software program.
I suggest you download a free grammar checker program. It shows spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes and punctuation mistakes and it shows the corrections.
Here are two links to the program that I recommend:
You wrote: "... some advices..."
The noun advice is called an uncountable abstract noun.
It is abstract because it is an idea, a concept, a thought and it is not a concrete, physical noun such as 'house, car, dog, etc'.
So because 'advice' is uncountable, we cannot have one or two or more "advices".
That means that the noun 'advice' is never plural, and so that means we cannot say "a advice" which is equal to "one advice".
We need to use a determiner, such as some advice, a piece of advice, any advice, etc. (Google determiners to learn more).
Hi!!! I would definitely say that READING helps a lot. By reading you will feel more confident when you write. So, read, and then write about what you read. You can just write it just for you in a personal notebook if you feel embarrassed, but honestly, I think that one of the best ways to improve, is texting with natives, and ask them to correct you if they don't mind. Don't be scared of making mistakes. You will learn from them :) What's the worst thing that can happen to you if you make a mistake? You have nothing to lose :)
