In Japan, big silhouette wear is popular fashion among Japanese girls.
They dare to wear men's t-shirts too big for them.
They are cute and androgynous but not sexy because clothes hide their body.
I guess that foreigner don't like so much, because femininity of clothes are important in foreign country.

About this topic, I think it's good, people should be allowed to wear what they like, they don't need to be "sexy" for anyone else if they are comfortable in what they wear... confidence is sexy!
