This is a good free newspaper website - it is free for us in the UK
www.theguardian.com/uk

Also the BBC website has lots of information for adults and for children.
www.bbc.co.uk
BBC bitesize is lessons for children, CBBC is for children and CBeebies is for small children.
You can search to find them. I mention the children's part as the vocabulary is different for children - sometimes simpler but also sometimes more natural.

The Guardian website has extensive content on different topics such as education, the environment, or health issues, etc, which are all written in an standard and comprehensible English. Personally, I'm accustomed to reading its articles on a daily basis, broadening my horizons on various arguments.
