first of all, it is grammar, not gramar

baharhaal, if one part of the sentence is completes the other part of the sentence then it is dependent clause.

example: although I promised to attend her birthday party, I could not go due to rain.

see here, If you say the first part only, although I promised to attend her birthday party, the sentence isnt complete. You need to finish it using the second part.

If one part of the sentence is not dependent on other part of the sentence, then it is independent clause.

example: I want to go to cinema and then eat dinner at a restaurant.

see here, if you say only the first part. I want to go to cinema, it is a complete and meaningful sentence in itself.
