For all teachers or students

hi guys I wanna ask you, what do you think if foreigners cannot speak Indonesian and English but they wanna study Indonesian, also the case is the teachers shouldn't use the other foreign languages to explain the materials. The question is Is it possible to learn Indonesian languages without knowing Indonesian n English?

How the teacher explain the materials without use other foreign languages?

you can try with pictures and gestures. You can teach him/her some basic language. Such as "eat/makan" (don't forget, use gestures/picture), drink, etc.

I mean there's example: ya, the foreigners study in Indonesia, but the rule is you're not allowed to teach Indonesian language using other foreign languages just because your students can't speak Indonesian and English. So, do you think it's possible to teach Indonesian in this situation? who knows the method to teach like this, I'll give you the prize. lol :D

Thanks Ajeng for your answer,,it's not what I mean, I knew your answer for the first time, I just need the method to teach Indonesian language for that case. You know when I got a microteaching test about this case at Indonesian course, I was confuse too, but I guess there will be a solution for this.

I think that would be so difficult, but nothing impossible.
I recommend your friend, first to come to Indonesia. During study, he/she can also join any English and Indonesian course. Also you have to guide him/her all the time, at least until he get a bit understand and able to speak Indonesian.

Otherwise, just let him/her some time to learn English nor Indonesia before come in Indonesia, because it would be tough to survive without knowing how to communicate with people around.

Thanks!
