I dont think grammar lessons are boring. I love grammar lessons.

Grammar is interesting for people with an analytical mind, with a talent for other things like maths and exact sciences. People who like to see the logic between things, and make conclusions. This is not the average language student perhaps.

Nevertheless it is useful. And if you dont like it, just bite the bullet.

Excellent idea. The trick is to find songs where the grammar is correct. Many of the songs I know use an older style of English, or are Christian, so cannot be used in Italki classes. Looks like I have some research to do.

   Grammar Lessons can be  alternated with simple Pronunication exercises  and Vocabulary Studies  by  singing  songs in the languag you study and by  studying the words and phrases of the songs.

   Songs are great assets in learning language.  Once you learn the song melody and the words, you can practice them for the rest of your life, and have fun singing as well, whether alone or with others.
