What is the national dish (food) of your country?

Add your country and nationality and give as much detail about the dish as possible in the comments below.

e.g. the national dish of Scotland is haggis.  Haggis is a savoury pudding containing sheep's pluck; minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally encased in the animal's stomach and simmered for approximately three hours.
