Ever since I’ve started learning English, English movies and series with ENGLISH subtitles have been the most important resources for my English learning.
So I believe for you Persian-learners who have passed the basic levels, watching Persian movies with Persian subtitles would be a great help although it’s not always easy to find them.
I tried to find the Persian subtitle for the Oscar-winning movie “a separation” without any result. But nothing to be worried about, because I made one myself!
I uploaded it on the subscene.com. You can download it from the link below:
The movie “a separation” by the director “Asghar Farhadi” has been critically acclaimed worldwide and it’s one of the few non-English movies on the IMDb's Top 250 list, chosen by voters
You can learn more about this movie here:
I also had prepared for you some notes on colloquial Persian which would've helped you to read persian subtitles but apparently that was too long and I couldn't put it here, so I'm going to put it on my next Post
km player is a good player too.
in addition it can load multiple subtitles at the same time
@portlandpolyglot: In VLC Player, in the menu bar click Subtitle, then Add Subtitle File... navigate to the the subtitle file, which should have the .srt file extension. If the srt file is in the same folder nd has the same name as the movie, it should open automatically.
Having both English and Persian subs helps a lot. I have been looking everywhere for English subs for Inja Bedoone Man, but have yet to find any. Do you any place to find them?
Thank you, Erfan!
I didn't know you had responded.. I just saw your message today. The new link is good. :)
