The spanish situation with reference to her bad politic system

What do you think of Spain? I'm living in spain and I think that is a funny country to enjoy yourself since there are a lot of party , nice people , good diet and beautiful beaches and landscapes but  politic leaves a lot to desire!

I have lived in Spain for 6 months, but I am from London. I can see the economical problems Spain has. The Podemas party is making big progress and because of the latest banking scandal this will throw petrol on the fire and give Podemas more popularity. There are many differences between our two countries of course the euro is weak at the moment so the English pound goes further. I live in the NW of Spain which I think is different from the rest of Spain not just the weather :-)  I have travelled around Spain and love the big citys of Madrid, Bilbao, Valencia ect.... These are the things which fustrate me living in Spain. Firstly the opening hours of your shops, I know you have fiesta and I respect that, but most towns, citys become ghost towns between 2pm- 5 I always feel in such a bad recession why not break with tradition and open up your shops all day especially on saturdays. Another thing which is fustrating is owning a car and all the paperwork involved, the price of second hand cars in Spain is very high, I had to pay 2000€ for a 15 year old punto, in the Uk I wouldnt pay more then 500£ 700-800€ . After saying all this I love Spain because of the people, friendly, animated, very family orientated,  and smiley :-))

Of course people who are visiting will just see the beaches and monuments and football stadiums and nothing more. They will not know about the political situation, the plight of the people, or the government. This is true with any country however. Of course the visitors see the country as perfect and sublime while the citizens are the ones who see the hardships and feel the suffering.

I agree with you Maria. Our country is very beautiful and there are million of tourists that come here every year to know our traditions, beaches, mountains, landscapes and so on. However, the political situation is awful: the corruption inside the political parties, the unemployement rate is very high, the government´s cut in Health and Education... It is a shame that some imcompetent people is becoming a sad country. But we´ll still keep on fighting to deliver the happiness to Spain. Greetings from Granada!!
