Lebanese indie pop group Mashrou' Leila

For me music is one of the most effective ways to learn languages, so I was thrilled to find this band and this song:

A line by line breakdown of the song can be found here: http://shamicouch.wordpress.com/2012/10/18/amiyya-grammar-fasateen-by-mashrou-leila/

First thing this song is a Lebanese song and if you already decided to learn sham dialect It's ok but for standard Arabic language this wouldn't be useful for you.

Remember when you told me you'll marry me, without money or a house
Remember when you used to love me, despite me not being part of your religion
Remember when your mother saw me sleeping in your bed (?), she told me to forget you
And we agreed
Without millions or dresses
You held my hand. Promised me a revolution. How did you forget me? How?
And you brushed my hair and
You held my hand. Promised me a revolution. How did you forget me? How?
Remember when you told me you plan to leave me, because I had no money or a house

I just saw mashro3 leila in Zouk Mikael Lebanon, they were incredible.

They also do a cover of toxic by Britney spears: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtMFE6m7UJY you can look for the lyrics online.

@Emir: Oh, yeah, sorry I thought that was clear from what I said and the lyrics link I posted, this is definitely sung in Lebanese.  Since I'm learning Shami it's perfect for me and, even if I didn't care about Shami, I love the melody! :D

@Dorothea: Just checked them out!  Fantastic!!
