Phoebe
An Excerpt from The Sense of An Ending

But time...how time first grounds us and then compounds us. We thought we were being mature when we were only being safe. We imagined we were being responsible byt were only cowardly. What we called realism turned out to be a way of avoiding things rather than facing them. Time...give us enough time and our best-supported decisions will seem wobbly, our certainties whimsical.

What a profound statement Phoebe.  I like  it very much.

I think it useful,  since  sometimes,  people  will show reductionistic  same attitudes and  confused understandings that I   once adopted also.

It is interesting  how   simplistic conclusions and  brief  answers seem sufficient  when one is casual about ideas, that on  a more careful examination,   seem to serve for entirely entirely different answers.

It is possible to track some conclusions directly to a source in Subjectivisms,  while at the same time,  a person presumes that their conclusions are grounded in Objectivisms.
