Among the most important factors cited by people is the acme of engineer and architectual achievement. Thanks to those creation, ancient buildings with low qualities are replaced by high- rise buildings. I think it is hugely important to respond the increasing population. The growth of skyscrapers has many essential effects. The benificial impact is that skyscrapers promote a fast development in the present ecomony. This means, the beauty, wealth and modernization of high- building can attrack people around the world, so bussiness has potential opportunities to develop the tourism industry, accommodation bussiness...It looks like a measuring equipment to indicate the commercial, technological, evolutionism development of cities. Nevertheless, these superstructure raise some important questions about worth the risks in cases of disater. The most important drawback is terrorism. Terrorist always set their objectives where the bulk of the population lives. Another disadvantage is the fireproofing problem. Evacuation is difficult to escape because the fire spread quickly in high- rise building. In brief, although the galloping superstructure has some advantages, it still exits nagative effects.
