It's a bit tricky to explain, but I'll hope this might help: Doing tiring things will make you tired. Encountering an annoying person might make you annoyed. Annoying is what you or other people might describe something or someone as. Annoyed is a feeling. "Annoyed and "tired" are emotional states (like angry, happy, sad), whereas "annoying" and "tiring" are describing something or someone (like saying "That was a happy/annoying/tiring movie").
