En España es ¿tomate o jitomate? No sé la diferencia, por lo que me podrían ayudar a saber el correcto.

El jitomate es un tipo de tomate que se produce en latinoamérica o al menos es originaria de allí.

 

Jitomate is a kind of tomato made in latinamerica. It is a producte from southamerica. Similar, but no the same. In spain is more typical tomatoe.

En Colombia no se dice jitomate, así que no se puede decir que en toda Latinoamérica se usa esa palabra.

En España no utilizamos "jitomate", de modo que tiene que ser "tomate" a la fuerza
