I went to my grandma's place and found a bamboo recorder. They said they almost threw it away. They don't take it as a serious musical instrument. I remember the time My grandmother purchased it for $1 during my summer holiday when I was young. I seldom saw my parents, and I am the only child due to China's one-child family policy. I had to spend time with my grandma, who didn't know how to educate me. No one taught me how to play it, and I am not talented enough to be a self-taught . The only thing that I could do was read. But only reading is too boring, so sometimes I hoped to listen to and play some music. Today I saw the same one from Taobao, but it costs 4 dollars now. And I finally know its Chinese name. I thought it was called dizi before, but dizi is side-blown and normally with a special membrane called dimo. Xiao is a vertical bamboo flute, but it definitely is not a Xiao. It's good, 20 years has passed, and I still don't know how to play it, at least now , I know its name.

A good story, well-written ; I’ve made suggestions for slightly better word choices, and added articles i e ‘a’ / ‘the’ which are necessary in English when talking about a physical object.
