I have studied English for a while, but I feel I still have a long way to go with speaking. Some of my co-workers from abroad have been studying Japanese and they can speak it better and better recently. My English speaking skill is not even close to the caliber they speak Japanese. In my case, it depends on topic. For example, when I talk with someone about a daily conversation, I feel like I can manage to speak In English. On the other hand, I can't smoothly when it comes to work related topic. I feel like I have difficulty explaining how to proceed work and so forth. These days, I didn't have so much opportunitie to chat with international co-workers in person than ever due to corona pandemic. So I'm not really sure about my speaking skill lately. That's why I post my notebook on this site as much as I can and I want to try not to forget vocabularies I've ever had.

I have studied English for a while, but I feel like I still have a long way to go with speaking. Some of my co-workers from abroad have been studying Japanese, and they have been improving their speaking skill tremendously as of recently. My English speaking skills are not even close to the caliber at which they speak Japanese. In my case, it depends on the topic. For example, when I talk with someone about a daily conversation, I feel like I can express myself very well in English. On the other hand, I can't do so when it‘s about a work related topic. An example of something I have difficulty explaining is how to follow the work procedure. These days, I didn't have many opportunities to chat with international co-workers in person than ever due to corona pandemic. So I'm not really sure about my speaking skill lately. That's why I post my notebook on this site as much as I can and I want to try not to forget vocabularies I've ever had.

Nice 👍 Remember that any word ending in -LY (smoothly) is an adverb and needs to be paired with a verb. (Dance smoothly, talk smoothly, etc. )
