What is "bagay"?
Someone talks a proverb about better life ... and then other Filipino comments "bagay".... There are too many google translations... what is bagay?

It means that the proverb was suitable or timely for the current condition or situation of the Filipino who wrote the comment BAGAY on it.

or if they are referring about things you wear or attach on your body.. it means "it suits on you (that thing) very well "

BAGAY
Formal = thing, object
Informal = In-sync, compatible

bagay has two meanings,, it actually depends on the topic,, the first one is "things" which is the most common one,, but if the topic is about couples or if they are comparing something it means "compatible"..
