Hi, EVERY sentence MUST have a "subject" & a "predicate." Example: Americans donated millions to charities. "Americans"=subject, "donated"=verb. The verb in this case is the predicate since the subject is a pronoun. I know this is a short answer but it's the basis from which you should start in order to understand sentence structure. For me ,just listen to others including others conversation , film , news . and then talk with others in English . If you are wrong they will get confused you feels bad and have a deep impression hehe. my way . Good luck ~

A sentence MUST have a subject and verb. Most of the time, the subject comes before the verb. Knowing English grammar will help you very much!
