If you have warned someone against doing something because you know it will harm them, and they insist on doing it, you can say: "Don't come running to me!" Meaning that you will give no sympathy if they ignore your advice and then regret their actions.

This is a mixed idiom, meaning if you do something stupid don't hurry and tell me.
e.g.
If you fall and break your legs don’t come running to me!
