Trust, love and respect are the basis of any relationship. When someone cheats you, he betrays your trust and love, and thus loses his respect in your eyes. Hence all three of these ingredients required for a good relationship are lost. Without trust, love and respect, there can be no relationship. The following saying is true for most cheaters, if not all: Once a liar, always a liar. =)

That's YOUR problem. It's up to you. If you're asking if you can trust the same guy who cheated you, then I advise you to see a doctor immediately!

If you have enough trust to give another chance, I think you may find that your feelings will have changed anyway. You may find yourself to be equally untreatable now. If so, it may be better to not even try. You do not need to stoop to that level. If you find this to be true after introspection, move on. I know... It isn't that easy.

Maybe you can trust on the friendship that someone offer to you, but you can not trust the words of love, these are gone with the wind. The only reality in a relationship is the physical presence of the person.
