deux / douze (prononciation)
Can I get verification if what I've found as an answer is correct?
My question involves the difference in pronunciation between these phrases:

Deux enfants. Douze enfants.

(I found as an answer) - The difference is not in the liason sound, but in the vowel.

Deux enfants = deuh zenfants (euh is the sound you make when someone punches you in the stomach)

Douze enfants = dooo zenfants (ooo like Scooby Doo)

Deux enfants- the deux is like 'duh' without any sarcastic intonation. 
douze- yep it's like doo with a z at the end
Actually there is a liason difference, too, but it's subtle. deux enfants->the z sound is with enfants
douze enfants-the z sound is with the douze
This difference may seem like nothing, but it is there, though I wouldn't worry about that at all right now. I'm just letting you know it's there.

Thank you.  Even though I've had years of French, I know it's these little things that separate me from a native French speaker.

"deuh zenfants" is right, but douze is "dooz zenfants". 
If you say "doo zenfants" I hear "doux enfants" (gentle kids).
