「tara」
used when presupposing a future, present or past state or action.If the first state or action eventuates, then the secondaction will take place.when the construction is 「~tare~ta」, the fact that the second action took place under the first conditions is ezpressed.
ex. Yesterday, when I went to school there were no classes. (kinou gattko he ittara jyugyo ha arimasendeshita)
If it rains, what will you do ? (ame ga futtra doushimasuka) If I get some money, I would like to go on a trip.(okane ga attara ryokou ni ikitaidesu)
「~nara」presupposing a future or present situation, the speaker gives his judgment of what will happen.「nara」follows 'V-ru,' i-adj, 'Noun' 'NA'
ex: If you're going to drink coffee, this shop is good. ( coffee o nomunara kono mise ga iidesu)
If they are the same price, this one would be better. ( nedan ga onajinara kochirano ho ga iidesu)
If you have a stomachache, take this medicine.(onaka ga itainara kono kusuri o nominasai)
